Read Luke 7:11–35
The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother (Luke 7:15).
This verse is a powerful reminder of God’s incredible power. If you ever wonder if God can help you through a troubling circumstance, the fact that He can raise the dead puts to rest any concern over God’s abilities.
People’s doubt can chisel away at their faith one thought at a time. Therefore, it is important to read the Bible’s amazing stories of how God involved himself in people’s problems and revealed His awesome power in doing so. God had the biblical writers record these incidents to encourage you in your situation today.
Be strengthened in faith as you recognize God’s supremacy. Understand His potential. Be saturated in the assurance that He is capable and willing to move mountains on your behalf.
He raised a dead man back to life. What is your greatest need? No matter what situation you may face, God’s ability to provide, to heal, and to solve is even greater!
Prayer Suggestion: God, help me. Forgive me of any doubt. Come do the impossible in my life.
